Thriving Through Recreation is a new charity (a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in 2023) that provides grants to children and young people navigating social, emotional, or educational difficulties so that they can regularly attend any recreational pursuit of their choosing.

 

At present we have a Board of Trustees consisting of five members, the CEO and four further members. During the course of 2025 we would like to increase the size, diversity and expertise of the Board. We are seeking potential Trustees with expertise in all aspects of charity governance, but especially human resources, law, fundraising.

 

We are looking for individuals who share our enthusiasm for the benefits of regular recreation on young people.

In your message, please describe something of your background and suitability for the role of Trustee, indicating what in particular you can offer to the charity.
